Hi! My name is Sheila and welcome to my page. On April 18, 2011, I turn 29. Yup, 29 years old. That's one year before I turn 30. What will also make this day special is that I plan on starting my own Project 365. Everyday for one year, I will be taking photos to document this time of my life.
Day 315: Archie
I consider Archie to be one of my closest friends. He’s funny and has a good soul.

Day 314: Sister
"A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life." (Author unknown)
Ate, you’re one of the most beautiful people I know and I’m thankful to have you in my life. Happy (advanced) birthday!

Day 268: Pathway through the trees
"Never fear shadows. They simply mean there’s a light shining somewhere nearby." (Ruth E. Renkel)
There’s a certain “je ne sais quois” about night photography. I love it immensely.

Day 262: Coffee creamer
Eugene, Vanessa, and I went to Cora’s for breaky today. It was a yummy good time.

Day 255: Kitchen chairs
The wicker chairs that sit around our kitchen table.

Day 226: Gnarly
To be honest, I don’t exactly know what this is. I’m not sure if it’s a tree stump or what.

Day 220: Shh!
My third day at the library. Just in case you’re wondering, I am not in school. I have a part-time job with the University of Manitoba as a teaching assistant for the Faculty of Nursing.

Day 219: Shelves, shelves, shelves
Another day spent at Winnipeg’s Millenium Library.

Day 215: Mom
"A mother is a mother still, the holiest thing alive." (Samuel Taylor Coleridge)
Yesterday was Mom’s birthday. Unfortunately, we were not able to spend any time together because we work at opposite times of the day.
Ma, I would not be the woman I am today without you in my life. I am grateful for how hard you and Dad work everyday to give us what we want and need in our lives. I know I don’t say it often enough, but I love you so much.

Day 210: Autumn walk
After yoga, I decided to take advantage of the mild (albeit, cloudy) weather and take a walk through Assiniboine Park.

Day 206: The Cube
In the Exchange District, there is an odd piece of architecture. Some find it revolting, whilst some welcome the creation.

Day 202: Airport parkade
My Dad, Mom, Eugene, Vanessa, and I went to visit the new airport this afternoon. It looks incredible, but there isn’t much in it yet. At present, there is a small magazine/souvenir shop and Tim Horton’s for non-passengers to check out. At some point, a Stella’s and a MLCC will open.
